ESA Phase I – Pollution souce identification
Phase I includes the on-site visit by the project manager to view present conditons (like chemical spill residues, die-back of vegetation, etc.), hazardous susbstances usage and to evaluate any environmental hazardous site history. The project manager will interview persons knowledgeable regarding the property history. Additonally, historic aerial photography of the vicinity will be examined. If it is necessary, further investigation concept will be suggested.
Phase II is the contamination verification stage based on sampling and chemical analysis, which mainly includes filed works, core sampling, chemcial analysis and result evaluation.
ESA Phase III – Risk assessment
Phase III mainly focesed on supplementary sampling and testing to obtain necessary parameters needed for further risk assessment and soil & goundwater remediation.
